You apparently have some remnants of the software still on your system that are incomplete and prevent the appropriate actions from taking place. What you need to do is to re-establish those links. To do this, re-install the software. But don't trust this installation to work properly. Immediately go to the Control Panel again and Uninstall it. This should get rid of any broken links. Then, if this Uninstall is successful, Install the software again, from scratch.
